Hi guys,

I am looking to purchase a complete 40k Army. Preferably unpainted, however painted to Tabletop+ standard or higher would be considered (but would lower the price).

I am looking for a force with options at 1500, 1750, 2000, 2500 and possibly 3000. I would consider higher if you are looking for the right price. As this is shopping around, please don't expect me to pay anywhere near retail price, this is basically me saying "if you don't want your army, I will give you some cash for it..."

I have no real preference, I just want something playable. PM me a list of what you have, photos and how much you would like for them, delivered to the UK.

I don't want to pay much, like, at all... I can take it or leave it, just having a passing fancy in returning to 40k. The kind of price I'm looking to pay is not going to be '75% of retail' or anywhere close.

Don't you think trolling the swap-shop is kinda pathetic?

Frankly, mate, the lowest you're likely to see someone go would be 50 percent of retail.

Anything below that, they wouldn't be getting money enough to be worth parting with the models, when there is likely to be someone else who will actually pay a fair price for them.

You might try trawling through charity shops or flea markets in hope of a lucky find.

Trolling the swap shop? I'm just letting people know my intentions after being offered stuff at - if you are in to 40k - reasonable prices, but not reasonable for what I am looking for.

I understand where you're coming from. I just know some people may be desperate for money or want out of the hobby, and some people may not be interested in half of what someone is selling. So I am letting people know "got a whole army you want gone for cheap? I'm in". I'm not foisting myself on anyone and I wouldn't dare make an offer to someone that may offend them because their reasons for selling are different to my reasons for buying.

It's worked for Warmahordes before, can't see why it wouldn't work for 40k.
