Hey all,

After much changes on how I wanted my army to look, I finally came up with a scheme I like. Let me know what you honestly think.

Thanks,

I wiped my models clean to start fresh. I am in the process of painting the rest of the warriors and other ground units.

Cool paint scheme, but those mold lines!

I kinda like the "no-frills" simplicity. They're Necrons, they don't need adornments or decorations (well, except for a few who retain their old personalities); form follows function, and the cold tones suits them as cold emotionless killers.

It's the glows that make it work I think. I wonder if it would look better (or at least more dramatic) if you went for slightly darker shades of metal, with maybe a few points of interest in brighter shades, and maybe the infantry models also in a slightly different colour?

I like no frills style, but the one critic I have is that the inside curves of the croissant need highlighting.

So you all don't like the glowing blue?

Looks good, I'm no big fan of glows, but it look goods. I think to much glow ruins the model

Would it be better if I toned down the glow areas?

No I think you've got the sweet spot with the glow, I really like it.
