Are there any examples of DA allied IG or Scions ?

Obviously not privy to the secrets of the chapter !

Cheers

Krieg! What a hole...

Closest I know of is when the DA landed on Vraks to capture some Alpha Legionnaires, they cleared the space port, helping the Kriegsmen, but they were never to help them in the first place.

Pandorax.

Dark Angel chapter (as in all 1000 of the chaps) port into system with some Grey Knights to team up with the aready deployed Catachans and PDF to clear Abbaddon and some Red Corsairs from the system and undo a daemonic incursion.

Its in the BRB triple pack.

Between

The DAngels are famous for leaving Guardsmen in the lurch when they get whiff of a Fallen, so it must happen fairly often that they work together.

I don't think so. Isn't it said they might only get a lead every 100 years?

I guess when it does happen it isn't good for whoever they were fighting alongside!

They're also obsessed with purity (overcompensation, methinks), so don't want to be seen with the likes of ratlings or ogryns.

I recall an old fluff blurb about some abhumans (I don't recall whether they were ogryns or ratlings) hanging on by their fingernails to be saved by an DA squad, who when they arrive and see that the troops they were sent to rescue are only abhumans turn around again with words to the effect of "these creatures aren;t worth our time."

Only on a campaign by campaign basis - they wouldn't follow the dark angels around.

The best known one is Piscina V - the Dark Angels and Imperial Guard fighting Ghazgkhull's orks. Koth Ridge was held by a Guard force supported (and locally commanded) by space marines.

See the Space Marine Battles book Purging of Kadillus for more details - it's actually one of the good ones.
Pandorax is another good example.
