Probably a foolish question. As Daemonology powers only references Codex Chaos Daemons. Though I wonder if there is any arguments in favor of using the new Daemonkin books.
When a psyker successfully casts "Possession". Can they create a Bloodthirster from Codex Khorne Daemonkin? Or are they strictly limited to models from Codex Chaos Daemons?

White Dwarf said you can take the BT from DK but they won't be fearless.

Possession allows you to summon 1 bloodthirster. There is no such unit in codex daemonkin (replaced by the bloodthirster of something fury).
I don't belive the white dwarf lays out specific rules changes for possession,but does allow the 3 new bloodthirsters to be taken in codex daemons, with daemonic instability, and without BFTBG.

i just reread issue 60 and can find no such rules.
also, codex daemons bloodthirsters have daemonic instability, daemonkin ones have fearless Automatically Appended Next Post: just realised dozer may have been referring to just taking them in your CD army, not summoning them via possession
