So, a while ago I started working on a project to convert several old Wraithlords into Talos Pain Engines (magnetized options to make them Cronos Engines as well). The first two are just going to be all scuffed up and Dark Eldar-y, but for the other four, I had a bright idea to make them look like a gash of cenobites from Hellraiser.

So, Pinhead is an obvious pick. I've already done the head, and it looks phenomenal.

Here's the question though: who to do for the remaining three? Most of them would require a boatload of work. The main problem is that my GS skills blow goats, so I'd prefer not to have to do a bunch of sculpting or a bunch of freehand work. (This is the reason I discarded Angelique and Chatterer from the running. I also disqualified Female Cenobite and Butterball because their most distinctive visual characteristics won't work with the Wraithlord frame.)

My remaining choices have come down to: Halo (I'd probably do the 'halo' out of actual fishhooks), Fan Dancer (her coloration, tattoos, and weapons would make her stand out more than some of the others), Balberith (She's the least cenobitey of them but I could, with some practice, get some lace and make her a gown of sorts, the glasses would be easy to fabricate, and I might be able to find a small book to bind to her back), and Little Sister (I could do the wire strands out of guitar wire, so she'd be fairly easy as well).

What do you guys think?

Interestingly this was my next project too! I was going to be GSing a lot though so we'll likely come up with some different looking results!

On topic though, for the remaining members as someone who has seen the movies but only has a passing knowledge of the either expanded or in depth stuff, couldn't you just kit them out in various gothic or S&M get ups? Wrapping their thin frames in flesh or leather would be pretty unnerving i would imagine.

Come to think of it don't do that.....thats mine...

Here's what the Pinhead one looks like so far.

I had some hypodermic needles left over from when my cat died a few years back, so I thought I would put them to good use as ichor injectors.

Looks amazing so far! My one note though and it has nothing to do with themselves visually because it's great.

Should that needle be pointing straight up...? That's just going to end horribly....

ahahaha Jim this look awesome

Sadly I don't know the hellraiser references that you speak of, I've only seen the film and a very long time ago.

However loving how the first one is turning out and its making me want to crack back on with my DA formation which I stopped working on when I moved house (last month).

having a quick google of those chars;
Are you going to avoid all GS work? Most of them seem to include some sort of flesh work being pulled/pinched/stretched by metal work.

Personally, I say have a little GS fleshwork and give it a go, I've actually found sculpting grots and talos really really fun and easy, flesh is so simple when you don't have to make it look smooth and neat and nice, I have literally gone to town just pushing and pulling the stuff till it looks 'right' - with right being a non-perfect close enough solution.

All the links in my original post go to pics of the characters.

I selected characters that would require minimal GS because I suck at it. I have hooks, barbs, needles, and wire aplenty though.

Ahh when I followed them through I couldn't see any pictures, might just be my works web blocking it.

As for your excuse! I do not accept it! Get GSing! and post pictures!

I think I'm going to go with Fan Dancer, Little Sister, and Halo.
