Hey, I just played my first learning game today, and I bought a starter pack plus an extra box of vanguard infantry. I'd love suggestions on what to do to take this list to 300 points (that seems to be the generic tournament, right??)

My first impression is that you lack specialists. If you're willing to look at doctor worm he's pretty handy for the job. Beyond that I'd look for some 'first strike' pieces. Your list looks very defensive at a glance. Maybe a drop troop or an infiltrating soldier. These are really just general bits of advice. I don't do morat much.

I'm more a SEF player over MAF. But what to buy is easy the TAG, Hungeries, or any model released after the MAF starter box, as the rest are do for a resculpts. YOU alaso going to want to drop some of the Vanguard at 300pts, but don't worry the more models to pick from the more options you have to bring what is needed. With that out of the way Yaogat just got redone I think and are a great unit with MSV. Morats need to bring the right tool for the job then beat the enemy over the head while doing.that job, I mean your Engineer has a Autocannon, not sure if I take that over the Shotgun but nice to have the option.

The Yaogats help against any TO camo shenanigans, the Sogarat's are like having Mini TAG's, and the Hacker is there to keep them going or for whatever mission I might pull - Doc and Kurgat Engineer are for mission specifics as well, but I've found both to be really useful ....with Karnok's ability it's like having 13 orders for 10 guys (Daturazi getting their extremely impetuous order along with adding to the order pool as well...... )
