at first glance, i wasn't sure what i thought. but, after a few minutes, i like them. very different look! i'd like to see some pics at different angles.
and maybe some more color in the wings or body. too dark, maybe?

The problem i suffer from is that I often like to do a conversion but then do not like to paint it. The main work is done with a tank brush.

What also is difficult is that after using Purity Seal everything is gettin black. Especially Midnight Blue.

 

The painting is good but im not sure I like the bird wings on tyranids. I just wouldnt think of aliens like the nids having feathers. Just my opinion.

i like it. i think it looks like part of the "assimilation". process.

I like them, but I'd like them more if they had some other feathery bits or beaks or whatever to show their avian genes.
