Was gonna drop pod my tactical squad with flamers but have now changed my mind and would like them back board making late objective grabbers. How should I equip them. Was going all flames before in drop pod but will probably change that now for extra range. Maybe plasma gun and plasma cannon with a combi gun on sergeant. Flamer would still be good though holding on a objective for the overwatch shots.

Maybe I should add them to a rhino? Anyway think I should add the heavy flamer even though the range isn't good as the overwatch shots are good and add either a plasma gun or grav gun and maybe a combi gun on sergeant.

It depends on the opponent, if they have stuff that can deep strike and screw up your back fied then you'll still want the flamers.

For ranged combat my opinion is sadly very biased as I have sold my soul to the Plasma gods and put Plasma Guns and Cannons on everything I can. However the grav is good too.

And Lascannon for heavy is also quite potent.
