Considering that now Force Weapons are taking on all the same shapes a Power Weapons, I was wondering if Force Fists and Claws - like Power Fists and Lightning Claws - exist anywhere in the fluff, or if they are even possible?

Grey knight dreadnoughts and dreadknights had forcefists.. never heard of a force claw.

I'm sure it's not impossible to make a force lightning claw because there shouldn't be anything that makes lightning claws impossible to forcify. We just haven't seen any. The same goes with chainfists.

A force chainfist would be pretty awesome and I'd totally let you homebrew one up for your army.

Force Claws would be quite awesome if they existed. No real reason they couldn't since a Lightning Claw is just an enlarged gauntlet with small Power Sword blades extending out of them.

Actually as of 7th ed, Dread knight and Dreadnought fists are just power fists

Fluff-wise, there's no particular reason that you couldn't have esoteric force weapons. After all, GK shoot force bullets from their psilencers. It would be a neat thing to see in-game.

Force fists could be pretty potent - the instant death is wasted on most infantry but against some MCs and characters it'd be hella good, wounding on decent rolls with ID.

Channel all that psychic power in your Force Fist to give the enemy an erupting burning finger.

But I don't think Lightning Claws fit the GK theme of being basically the greatsword and halbert wielding "Grey" Knights. Getit? Getit? Because they are neither the "White" nor the "Black" Knights, Getit? ...fine.

I know its the Shining Finger theme, but with Force Fists the song would be in my head everytime the Librarian dueled with something and I used the Force Rule.

Force Claws on a Night Lord Sorcerer (or Raven Guard Libby) would be sweet.

Don't think Force weapons can be equipped with a powerfield. Something about the psychic runes needing balance in the Warp or some such.

How would that work with a force sword/axe/staff having similar AP?
I though all those weapons worked on Power field principles

The psychic potency of the wielder's mind gives it a quality similar to a Warp Weapon? Just a thought... no pun intended.

Then i definitely dont see a reason why they cant make a shredding warp talon like weapon.

Something like a talon, yeah, makes sense. But not a Lightning Claw (it has a power field).

Shoot, just a big, feth-off sanctified iron glove with runes on it would work.

Probably not iron. Iron is warp-inimical in some lore.

True. On the other hand (heh) that tends to be "cold" or "cold forged" iron, while regular iron... just doesn't have many special properties, other than a propensity to rust.
