All I can say is... OMG! It's another Voyager, but BETTER!

30 points for 5/1/4/5. Action: If you performed a straight maneuver, you can immediately perform a 1 or 2 straight maneuver. The dial is basically the Voyager dial without the hard turns at 2, but with a 1 straight green, and a 1 reverse red.

The upgrades are a bit expensive. Multivector Assault Mode is 8 points!!! Of course, it's throwing 8 dice in any direction, and you can't use any free actions the turn you use it. Regenerative Shielding: during the planning phase, disable the card, repair one shield. Costs four points.

The Romulans got such a good crew card in the form of Romulan Hijackers. for 4 points, you get a card that makes any ship into a Romulan ship, all your crew, tech, and weapons are -1 SP, ignores the faction penalty if it's on a non-Romulan ship, and has a +1 attack to it when firing it's Primary Weapon. It'll probably get the WORF treatment though- there is nothing prohibiting you from assigning it to a Romulan ship and paying -1 SP for all your crew, tech, and weapons upgrades.

If I had to sum up the set, I'd say it's a better Voyager without the Fed crew that made Voyager so good. The equipment cards are way better. It's a must have set for Federation and Romulan players.

I like it.

I forsee a lot of people trading out Sovereigns in ther list for the Prometheus due to the points savings and the much better dial.

Finally, a decent use for the original EMH that came with the Equinox, Regenerative Shielding that is. hehee

I dunno. Capt Skill 2 and roll for a 50% chance of Capt skill 10 during the combat phase, along with an Aux token. Sure, really cheap, but if you depend on that Capt Skill 10 for something, well, my luck says it will never happen when I need it.

Very thematic though.

My favorite card in the pack: Regenerative Shielding. But only for the Prometheus. Romulan Hijackers will be seeing a lot of use in my fleets.

If I play feds it is more or less for complete fun so I'm ok with a 50/50 shot at captain skill 10. What I need to do now is think of a build with the Doctor, the EMH, EMH Mark 2 and Vic Fontain for an all Holographic ship.
