The new admech cult book lists a weapon type called "Burst Pistol". Will this count as a pistol in the fight sub phase?

It has more shots than 1 "but is otherwise treated as a pistol" meaning it is an assault weapon, can be combined with a second pistol or burst pistol for gunslinger(potentially: hypothetical), and is a ccw.
