HQ: Dark Apostle: Mark of Slaanesh, Plasma Pistol. Troops: 9 Chaos Space Marines (pistol and ccw): Mark of Slaanesh, Plasma Pistol. Champion with plasma pistol, power maul and melta bombs. Rhino: Dirge Caster 10 Chaos Space Marines (pistol and ccw): Mark of Slaanesh, Plasma Pistol. Champion with plasma pistol, power maul and melta bombs. Rhino: Dirge Caster Heavy Support: Predator: TL Lascannon, Lascannon Sponsons Predator: TL Lascannon, Lascannon Sponsons Predator: Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Combi-bolter 1000 points. The idea is that the marine squads overwhelm the foe in close combat. Plasma pistols for decent punch within pistol range, then I5, hatred and a good number of S6 attacks to put down a fair amount of hurt before anything gets to swing. Dirge casters to deny Overwatch. Triple predators for fire support and armor saturation. Could perhaps replace one Annihilator with a Helbrute with TL Lascannon and HF. Comes out at the same points cost, adds some versatility and variety but may be weaker. Thoughts?

At 1,000 points, it may be safe to ignore flyers with this list.
My concern is the number of troops. This army would have trouble with MSU, even at 1,000 points. I could field 6 squads of cultists and tie up your troops while the rest of my forces do stuff.
The thing that would put it over the top is IoE on the CSMs. Even a couple of ignored wounds could be a big deal.

There are lots of armies that can create significant hordes at this points level, which, without even bolters on your marines you'll be hard pressed to handle.
I would suggest changing out the plasma pistol on one squad for 2 flamers, with a combi flamer on the rhino. Now one squad will at least make a serious dent in a 30 count unit of boys or hornagaunts prior to you mopping up in CC. You might also consider swapping one pred for a heldrake, which can at least vector strike other flyers if you opt for the baleflamer loadout. An extra torrent flamer will help again with hordes and other meq armies. You may need to drop a few points elsewhere to make it work as I can't recall the exact points of a tri-las pred w/out codex to hand.
Hope that was helpful.

Drop a predator and take a vindicator laser destroyer instead. It's got more kick tha. The predator at the cost of being basically a brick with guns you shouldn't try and move much. But since it has a 48" range it's not like it matters all that much.
S9 ap1 ordinance 3 twin linked is enough fire power to slay a dreadnaught in a single shot more days than not. And it's good enough to wreck more conventional tanks like the Russ and the hellhound.
