Has anyone delt with a company called The Dark Works? They sell resin addon kits to turn SM vehicles into Chaos SM vehicles.

I am considering ordering a set of clean armor upgrades for the Land Raider but wanted to know about this company's reputation, shipping practices, and customer service quality before I do.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've never actually heard of them, but the products actually look pretty neat.

A friend of mine got some of the chaos addons a few days ago and they look awesome. No warping, no bubles. Makes Forgeworld look like a kindergarteners playdoh!

Some of the Chaos guys on Bolter and Chainsword have nothing but kind words about about these products.

I know there's at least one thread here on Dakka with good things to say too, specifically that his casts are great since he's a one man show with a reputation for only sending out perfect casts.

He is meticulous about making sure all of the orders he send out are error free since it is a one man operation. Good stuff. You should have no hesitation.

I will say that the armour kits are very, very thin (as they're essentially casts of plasticard) and mine were a little warped, but I LOVE his interitus "Havok" launcher, I wish they were sold in multipacks

If you are feeling up to it, search his name and you can get his templates for rhinos. Use some cheap garage sale signs and make them yourself to start with. Then buy his stuff. Much easier and more precise. GW is making a huge mistake if they don't offer him a job. He just get chaos.
