So, I've been working on all this stuff for a bit but wanted to give myself some motivation to get moving. Here is the initial breakdown of what there was:
Spoiler:

Missing from the photos are the 4 boxes of Sicarian(which are being assembled as being able to be fielded in a Kill-Clade--3x Sicarian Ruststalker Squads and 1x Sicarian Infiltrator Squad), as for whatever reason that picture got corrupted. Oh well.

Here is what currently is built(and has had 4 games so far--of which Wednesday was their first official victory!):

The goal is to have this formation(The Skitarii "Battle Maniple" formation; one of each unit and you pick or choose if you want to do Ironstrider Ballistarii or Sydonian Dragoons) painted by mid-July.
The colors I am using are as follows:

By the end of this week(June 7th to June 14th), my goal is to have at least my Skitarii Rangers(the unit to the furthest right with the long rifles) with these colors laid down. I'll have to figure out how best to do the Stygies VIII iconography later but the goal is to have the colors down by that time.

Suffice to say--I have some work to do.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Thanks V and Alph.

I'm currently doing some mixing experiments to try to get the 'perfect' black tone for the robes. It's going well, but I can't know for sure until the test plasticard dries.

Nice to see someone else besides me doing Stygies. I look forward to seeing you paint them.

I wasn't too happy with how the Stygies colors look on the Rangers when I painted up my Onager crewman. Seeing yours though, they look pretty spiffy in those colors. I was thinking about trying something different when I get to them, but after seeing how yours are turning out, I may just stick with the official colors after all.

The trick was to use Khorne Red rather than Mephiston Red.

Khorne Red makes it a bit more "dark" and "ominous", while Mephiston Red is almost a cartoony red.
