Has anybody seen or heard any rumors about if Forgeworld are updating the Shadow Spectres to bring them into line with the other aspect warriors ie. 2 wound Exarch with a set special rule and can be taken in an Aspect Host

From what I can see, FW basically haven't updated anything since 7th edition hit

When the Doom of Mymera v2 releases they will have an update, just like how all the Marines will get an update with the Badab War v2 comes out.

If you're curious, I've thrown up an update over in proposed rules. It's a mix of the original rules and the 6th edition update, made to (hopefully work) with the new codex.

Someone was asked at a big GW event recently and they said IA11 and its various units would see an update but "probably not this side of Christmas." It looks like we'll have to wait for IA8 v2 later this year and *maybe?* Badab V2 before we see all of our Eldar get the boost they deserve.

They're 25 points per model now.

Exarchs only one wound.

Shadow of Death is the Exarch special rule (extra d6 for ld tests within 12").

Holo-fields now stack with stealth/shrouded.

Cannot be taken in an Aspect Host, but get their own formation, which is like an Aspect Host, but crap.

Only one wound for the Exarch? How dare they make the Exarch balanced compared to the other ones!
