Ive played this list a few times and it hasn't lost, but I feel the low model count is really pushing its luck. I played against a green tide list and it was a fun game but it was SOO close, closer than I want my eldar list to be against green tide.. but against others as well. Trying to get opinions on if I should just leave it the same or try and find a way to add more bodies. If you have a suggestion please take the time and effort to explain how and why to implement it, its real easy to say oh take X unit without suggesting how to actually fit it in properly.

Notable things:
The D-scythes on the hemlocks are basically like heavy flamer blast templates to most things, i was underwhelmed with how little they were able to accomplish.
I did not manage to hit a single shot with my wraith knights wraith cannons all game.
The hemlocks die so easily, even with jink.

Thank you in advance!

Anyone? I help people with their lists all the time! Just looking for a few other fresh opinions on it. I know its already pretty much min-maxed but someone must have an opinion.

Look pretty solid.

One thing...The wraithknight has no use for the SL. He cannot fire them. He can still only shoot two weapons.

The reason you're not getting comments is because it's a solid list. I'm not sold on the hemlocks. I feel Crimson Hunters would be better, actually being able to take care of flyers and all.

The rules for gargantuan creatures are pretty clear in the fact that the wraith knight can fire all 4 of its weapons. However if you would like to debate that fact there is a thread in "you make da call".

I have been contemplating the same thing about the crimson hunters, they would help with flyers and the D scythes on the hemlocks have been underwhelming, however the -2 ldship and 4 warp charges and 2 more possible sources of invisibility and shrieks are pretty big things to throw away.

I also did realize thats likely why im not getting too many responses

I'd vote for crimson hunters as well

Yes, I've read the thread and the rules.

If the rules were "pretty clear" why there is a 9 page thread in YMDC?

I think a single hemlock wraithfighter serves a purpose. Two is just uneccesary IMO. Warp spiders are amazing, so a triple aspect host of them, cant go wrong.

How has the seer council performed for you? I wanted to start building one for lels, I have friends who swear by it, but I just cant see if being worth its weight equivalent in other stuff. I.e. a ton of scatter bikes and another wraithknight. Or an entire crimson death formation.

Aftermath can be calculated.

The council can basically kill anything and tank anything. I lost 0 models in a triple charge against 2 15 man or boy squads and 10 man bike with nob pain boy and war boss. Made 1 unit of boys and the bike unit run.

Because a couple people who dont do reading comprehension keep arguing vs everyone that knows how it works.

Well thankfully, where I play (Australia) it's been FAQ'd by a council of players to only be able to shoot two weapons. This was done based on their reading of the rules, interpretation of rules as intended, and that none of the council consist of donkey-cave powergamers trying to squeeze more cheese from the Eldar codex.

But you keep playing it with your interpretation. I'm sure your opponents love playing against you.

Im sorry, who am I to oppose the australian warhammer council's decisions to alter the rules of a game made in a different country.

We'll fantastic list, but my question is how are you going to be able to play this list?

I am actually a believer in a sword and sheild.. for the WraithKnight.. it does an insane number of D strength hits and has now got (to most things) a 4.3++ invul (5++ invul, 5++ fnp) which is just crazy.

Mathematically you basically get to add the wounds form 6 up to effectively 13.5

Automatically Appended Next Post:
PS: I completely disagree with dsythes .. they are brilliant.. you get no cover save no armour save and do not have to roll to hit .. just roll a 3+ to kill a vehicle even.

Since eldar are BS4 your chance to HIT (3+) is now converted to your chance to Instakill, that more than compensates for the loss of a d6 roll of a 6 imho

Just one dscythe killed a dreadnaught in one shot by rolling a 3 then a 5 and took out 5 marines .. that was in two turns.. remember the template ignores cover

im gonna double check in a minute but i dont think the d-scythes from the hemlock ignore cover, they are blast templates

Oh are they blast? I think you are right. I don't have a hemlock, but now you mention it one, my answer assumed they were templates like the hand held version, but now you mention it yes I think you are right

yeah they dont ignore cover cause its a blast template not a flamer template. Which basically makes it a worse flamer vs most things that arent vehicles or multi wound models.
