Hello all,

I'm hoping to make a Librarian on a bike for my Dark Angels army. I hope to convert a ravenwing biker (the sergeant, specifically) from the Dark Vengeance set. Thing is... it doesn't scream Librarian to me. I'm planning on replacing the chainsword with the Blade of Caliban (will be used as a Force Sword) from my Command Squad bitz and paint the armour blue like a regular librarian but that's about all the ideas I have. Any other suggestions?

Hover bike? Remove the wheels and have him riding round on a metal steed of telekinetic awesome-sauce?

Hover bikes? no thanks

MY personal prefrence

DV Librarian, Cut off torso below the belt carefully then put him on the bike bottom of the RW guy.

chop off left arm (the one with the sword) for the handle arm. use generic or fancy shoulder pad to replace.

You can also get books from Empire kits to make him more librarianeeee

Yeah, there are several 'open book' bits which could be a good librarian symbol. I'm sure one of the Dark Angel sprues contains one? - although possibly a bit large to fit on a bike.

Hmm, and/or do something with those wing pennant thingies...can't think what offhand...

If you just need the libby bike to stand out from the others, I suppose just not using the wing/feather bits would do that - but not especially libby though.

Seconded on using the torso of the DV libby.
I have seen it done several times and it looks amazing.
