Simple question, if GW remove the MoTF, will you be using Vaylund Cal (the sons of medusa MoTF with a MC statline)?
This means you can field all your sicarans,contemptors ect.. whilst using iron hands chapter tactics (so not a bad thing,all your vehicles and Vaylund Cal have IWND)
So will you be using him whilst waiting for FW to publish a FaQ?
I know i will

Nope. I mean, I have no need for it anyway, but as Astral Claws, we have our own MotF Special Character anyway.

I use Valthex (Astral Claws MotF) on a regular basis anyway. Doesn't affect me at all.
I might make a point of getting a few Relics and teasing other players about it. 'Nope, he's not a Master of the Forge. You don't get to use multiple relics, lol.' No I wouldn't hold them to that, but the minute where they think I'm TFG would be amusing.

Why do you think FW will FAQ it anytime soon? They didn't for the Blood Angels, but email responses from them did say a standard chaplain would fulfill the requirement.
If I pay the points tax for a techmarine and someone said that's still not enough to fulfill the relic requirements under the new codex, well, that's one more person to add to the list of people I don't need to waste my time with.

I'll make a Vaylund Cal model to use against rules lawyers with a slightly modified list to account for points differences. I use Iron Hands tactics and the Raukaan book anyhow, so it's fluffy IMO.

They have a history of neglecting FAQs for long periods of time...except when it comes to Space Marines. Space Marine characters and gear are such an integral part of their sales, they usually release FAQ/Updates within days of major changes to the SM codex.
