So Heres the question, could the imperium of man team up with the other intelligent xeno beings to destroy the tyranid threat once and for all,would their alliance work ?, Who would suffer the most ?, and who would come out on top victorious? ....... I Guess its like ww2 in space.

Eldar & the IoM regularly have short lived alliances against a common enemy. As i know it, not so much with the Tau. As for the likelihood of a 3 way alliance I'd say no. Its within the realm of possibilty, but very unlikely. All 3 sides are more likely to use the hive fleets against one another than to ally against it.

Yes but why wouldnt the tau and eldar, i see no reson gor them to hate each other.

Eldar and Tau are either too small and/or to stuck in one corner.

Humans + Necrons + Orks could beat the Tyranids. Because the Orks can tarpit them, Humans got the mobility and numbers to contribute and Necrons have the tech to clean space from Tyranid ships. But Orks won't stick with "the plan".

It depends on how many Tyranids you think there are.

If they really have devoured more than a thousand galaxies then there really is no hope of withstanding that kind of firepower. So the Eldar's prediction of the Tyranids leaving the galaxy a barren wasteland with only the Necrons left to rule an empire of dust until the stars die would come to pass in such a scenario.

All the Eldar have to do is deploy Maugan Ra.

To be fair, "Deploy Maugan Ra, receive victory" is a valid tactic against everyone.

The Imperium of Man could theoretically defeat the Tyranids by itself- the problem is that it's unable to consolidate its manpower due to being assailed on all sides of its territory.

In a hypothetical where every xenos/heretic/warp being laid off the Imperium and it could focus the entirety of its war machine on the tyranids, it's likely that mankind would prevail based on prior performance against hive fleets.

It could be argued Chaos MIGHT lay off. If Chaos doesn't have any life forms to feth with then its doomed. I would say Chaos might even help. As much as it can.

Chaos already has more than enough "food" to sustain it in the warp, not to mention it could utterly slaughter the Nids if-so-wished. By Strike Force Ultima fluff, Daemons can blow up stars.

That's pretty clever.

The funny part is that most of the major factions could actually handle the nid threat alone if the other factions just stopped attacking them.

If the Harlequines or DE ever fully allied with any of the major powers defeating the nid threat would be trivial. They could just transport the IoM's entire fleet through the webway and take apart the nid splinter fleets one at a time.

The CWE will still end up winning though. They are currently combating all the threats in the galaxy by spending the lives and worlds of the other factions. All while Tz laughs himself silly because of the futility of it all.
