I've got a lot of DUST stuff. Now, first of all, I love my DUST collection; they all look great and have a signature dieselpunk look.

What I'm not jazzed about are the helmets, or lack thereof. A lot of units lack helmets; they're just guys. It's probably realistic, and that's fine - but the Wolfenstein player in me loves the badass look of an evil German soldier in heavy armor and a menacing gas mask.

I'm curious if you guys have any recomendation for helmets or masks. I'm flexible and interested in a variety of options, but stuff in the 28mm (Ideally 1/48 scale) range would be ideal.

And for reference, this is the sort of thing I'm trying to replace:

You've got lots of options, there are no shortage of "sort of ww2 German heads".
Dreamforge plastics would work, but you can't buy just the heads.
For resin or metal heads look at Maxmini, Kromlech, Secret Weapon, Mad Robot, Scibor, Westwind, and Blight Wheel.
I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Options for the Allies are a bit more limited, Mad Robot probably has the best options, but there are quite a few good pseudo commonwealth choices.
Size might be a slight issue, some of the above are more 'heroic' scale than others. If you find something that looks good ask around here and someone might have a scale reference for you.

I took a look at all the options; the dreamforge heads (sold alone on bits stores) seem like a nice mix between WWII and sci-fi. Thanks bunches.

Pig Iron production do an epically cool german helmet with sealed gas mask that I think is exctly what you are looking for.
