Vypers, War Walkers and the Vaul's Wrath Support Battery from this formation gain the preferred enemy special rule when shooting at a unit that is within 12" of a unit of Guardian Defenders from this formation.

If I have 2 battlehosts and I shoot with a war walker from host 1 at a unit close to some guardians from host 2 do I get preferred enemy?

If they're from another formation then they don't qualify as being "... from this formation..." and so would not get the bonus.

No, it specifically says "from this formation" and a walker from host 1 is not from the formation as the guardian in host 2.
