Let me know if i got this right.

I have an army of Ultramarines, all from the Gladius Strike force and it includes one demi-company.
So, i get:
one of each doctrine 'cause of the Ultras chapter tactics (affect all models in the army including vehicles)
one of each doctrine 'cause of the gladius codex astartes rule (affect all all models in the army including vehicles (normally would not affect vehicles if not ultramarines)
one tactical doctrine for the models in the demi-company

If i include a second demi-company as part of the gladius,i get another tactical doctrine for the models in the second demi-company
If i squeeze in a simple CAD with Calgar, another doctrine that affects my whole army.

Right as far as i can tell from what's been leaked.

You only get 1 extra Tac doctrine, even with multiple Demi-companies ("If your army includes one or more Battle Demi-companies...") and that Tac doctrine effects models in every Demi-company in your army.

Also, the only vehicles that (currently) can benefit from the Ultramarines chapter tactics are Dreadnoughts (including Venerable and Ironclad) as they are the only vehicle models with Chapter Tactics (Ultramarines). Note that the Gladius doctrines DO effect all vehicles in it.

Also the Gladius would effect vehicle models in it even if you didn't choose Ultramarines.

Agreed on the demi-companies.

Why you think all vehicles in a gladius are affected? It states models with the chapter tactics rules.
Also, the ultra tactics state that all ultramarine models (that includes vehicles) are affected

I could have sworn Gladius just said models.

To be an Ultramarine model, the model must have Chapter Tactics (Ultramarines). The only vehicles that can currently have that rule are Dreads, VenDreads and IronDreads.

While i understand your reasoning, it is difficult to believe that a Predator in an Ultramarines CAD is not an Ultramarines model.

The first paragraph in the the Chapter Tactics section specifically reads: " all models in the same detachment must be drawn from the same chapter"

As for vehicles currently CTs is broken RaW as you can't field models without CTs in a detachment containing models with CTs.
