Subject: Successul charge but died due to dangerous terrain.
Let's say the designated model in a unit survives overwatch but dies due charging through dangerous terrain. The second closest model in the unit would not be in range to make the charge. Does the charge fail?

Read the second paragraph of "Move Initial Charger" and "Failed Charge". It specifically addresses this.
