Subject: Can eldar use auxiliary formations in cad

Hey guys, I've seen people post lists on here using aux formations in cad list but I don't think
That's legal?
I say this because in the book it say 1-12 aux per guardian host, so I don't think you can just
Tag a aux formation on to a cad list.
Is this right or am I missing something?
If this is wrong can I be pointed to the page\s explaining this so I can make sense of it.
Cheers guys!

You can take any number of detachments or formations within a Battle Forged list. This means you can take something like 2 CADs, 1 Allied Detachment, and 3 Formations all in one list.
The 1-12 per Guardian Host is only if you take an Eldar Warhost Detachment. Outside of that, you can take any of the formations (that have their own data card) as part of any army, and in any combination.

To be slightly clearer, you may only separately use the auxiliary choices listed under the Craftworld Warhost that are in fact actually formations in their own right.
For example, a Combined Arms Detachment plus a Wraith Host formation is a legal Battle-forged army, while a Combined Arms Detachment plus two Wraithknights taken as Wraith Constructs is not a legal Battle-forged army as Wraith Constructs are not an actual formation, merely an auxiliary option in the Craftworld Warhost.

A common thing would be to use a CAD and an Aspect Host to benefit from the +1BS instead of taking your aspects inside the CAD.
