Hello, Dakka

I've been lurking around for awhile and decided to post what I've been working on so that the community might be able to benefit from it. I've recently gotten into 40k and have been learning allot of tips and tricks on these forums. So thank you everyone for all the help and advice!! As I am new and still getting accustomed to things I apologize for the lack of photos (or poor 3D render angle) in my first post. I also want to apologize that my 3D printer isn't currently working but since I have to pay for my next college semester its on back burners for now. However, hopefully Ill get some extra time and money soon and be able to get it back up and running. Once its back up and running I will most definitely post pictures of finished projects. (or if anyone else prints them and would like sharing I would gladly share them)

Everything I post below will be both available on thingiverse.com and shapeways.com under my accounts.

First I've designed a Sci-Fi Aegis device. I designed both a full Aegis to act as a device that's not turned on and a half Aegis to allow you to insert a transparent notebook divider in the shape and transparent color of your choice (or any material really)

Secondly I have just finished designing a Tau Landing Pad

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on what I've done so far. Any ideas for future designs would also be greatly appreciate it.

Interesting! By the way, try to increase the amount of angles of your circles. I know SketchUp for example has a standard circle of 24 angles, but (depending on the size of the model of course) try to increase the amount of angles to lets say 48, or 96 when dealing with small parts and to 240 or maybe even 480 when having larger circles.
