You're a knowledgable lot, so I've got a tricksy question about new stuff: Someone just claimed that the Perrys sculpted the plastic Cadian and Catachan command squads, but I'm not convinced. They certainly don't look like Perry sculpts to me?

thanks.

Have a look on Stuff of Legends (I'm on my phone or I'd assist), the Perrys certainly did old (weird) IG like the armless commissars, and those really don't look like their work.

My apologies, I didn't spot the word "new" in your post.

You mean "great" and "from better times" by saying weird, right? Good point though. They probably didn't really want to work for GW any more, so this is why the heads on the new cadians came out the way they did and the folds on the sniper bodies look so weird. :p

For some reason I thought the Perry's did those ugly plastic Catachans.

I don't know if it's on EVERY GW box, but somewhere on the box it'll probably have who sculpted it. On the two boxes I have sitting next to me here, it's next to where the "Citadel" and "Games Workshop" labels and copyright/trademark details are located.

The regular plastic Cadians are sculpted by Brian Nelson.

Yeah, have a look at the text the the left of the barcode on this catachan box....

Says it's "Designed by: Michael Perry, Alan Perry and Jes Goodwin"

I fething love them. I'm compulsively collecting the set, and just need a couple more.
My favourite is the Commissar in a tie and shirt, closely followed by the one holding a book and wearing sandals.
