I use the Vallejo Paint on Gloss Varnish in the dropper bottle.

Am I supposed to thin it out on my palette? I'm only used to the spray-on Purity Seal type of Varnish.

Thanks beforehand!

I've occasionally brushed the stuff on neat, but usually I thin it down and put it through a cheap airbrush.

I guess that you could thin it down and brush it on, but you'd run the risk of acting a bit like a wash - pooling in crevices and running off of raised areas is the exact opposite of what you want from a varnish!

When applying by brush, I thin it down but make sure my brush isn't over loaded to stop it settling in the crevices.
