So I own quite a few Malifaux models now (4 different crew boxes and some extras) but I haven't actually played yet. I don't have any friends who wargame, and locally it's pretty barren, ideally I'd need someone to teach me the game. How would you go about finding people? Is there a list of Henchmen and their locations anywhere?

Do you have Facebook? If so, join the group A Wyrd Place. We're at 3500 + members right now, including the Wyrd staff and a huge quantity of the henchmen.

Simply join and once you're approved (which doesn't take long), you can simply post in the group that you're looking for a group in your area and somebody will help you out.

Where are you based? I'd second A Wyrd Place, post on there with your location, and chances are someone will be able to help.

Thanks guys. I'm based in Hampshire but weekends I'm at my girlfriends in West Sussex, but Gosport and Littlehampton respectively are pretty much dead Wargaming wise (particularly outside 40k). There's two henchmen in Southampton which is fine but it's the other way to where I normally go, and I work evenings atm and it's just far enough I can't really go in the day. I'll definitely join the group, cheers. Assuming I pass my medical next week I should start a new job (apprenticeship anyway) in September and I'll have evenings free which should be better, it's just finding people now.

(Assuming that's a typo, as I couldn't find a Wilshire) There is a man in Salisbury who is a Henchman for Wyrd. Neil of Orange is is his name on the Wyrd Forums.

Wiltshire and Hampshire are quite local to Dorset as well. We have two? Henchmen here. One is local to me, and we play at multiple clubs. The other is in Bournemouth? I think. One is called MasterDisaster on the Wyrd Forum, I believe. I dunno the other.

Salisbury is about an hour and Bournemouth about an hour and a half for me to get to from here.

There's a shop in bournemouth that does malifaux on Tuesday evenings.

Follow Oldmanmyke on twitter. He's one of the bigger organizers in the UK. If he's not local to you, it's a probability he knows someone who is.

I was hoping to try and get a group going in the Rugby area. There's a good shop there and a gaming group on the side. Seems like a healthy place for wargaming and hopefully I can find some others area here who would be up for it.
