Hello everyone ,
I am new to the world of warhammer and I want to start playing this game , only that I find difficult to choose my army ideal . He's looking for an army that allows to deploy the lists by cac and lists from distance shots . When the army I like most in terms of aesthetics are the space wolves but I also like the miniatures of the marine space , the dark angels , Necrons , Eldar and imperial knight . Please can you help me telling me how are these armies at the tactical level ? so I can get me an idea and choose the army that is best suited to me . Thank you all

Read about each of the armies on Wikipedia and determine which fluff and generic tactics best suit your play style and personality and then make a selection.
What is good now may not be down the road, and playing only to win will cost you lots of money.
At the end of the day even losing constantly but playing your desired way will still give you a fun and rewarding experience.
And when you do win against the odds the victory, and scotch, are far more delicious.

thanks ,
but I have not Asked to tell me what 's army stronger now , because like you said , it could change at any time . I asked for a hand to those who play the armies that I mentioned , as they are at the strategic level , if they are operated by melee or ranged

Space Wolves will prolly be your best bet if you want to do both. They have great units for Assault and pretty good platforms for shooting.
Eldar and Necrons: Ranged only. So few Assault units in the army it's only an addition, not a whole army style.
Dark Angels and Space Marines just don't specialize. Average at both with very little to push them over the edge at being good at one or the other. Builds have to really specialize to shine, but they do the best with close range shooting using Grav.
Imperial Knights go anywhere you want. Just drop them in a list with one or two gun arms and kill things at whatever range you choose.

The codex and the Supplement for the 13th Great Company. You'll want to use that set of rules to save points and be able to fit in the Knight. Then it really depends on what you choose to do with the army. Some people go with two Iron Priests, Thunderwolf Calvary and a Lord or two and that's their army. Others want Wolf Guard Terminators coming in from Stormwolves with Logan Grimnar (Santa Claus on a Sleigh) doing his thing and Long Fangs firing from the back. You'll have to look and see what specifically you like and want to use. Same with the Knight. Pick which one tickles your fancy and make sure you have the points leftover for the Wolves you want.

There is no 13th company supplement. It is Company of the Great Wolf. It is very worth getting though.

Space Wolves- good choice! If you're going for competitive:
Rune Priest/ Iron Priest
Lots of Thunderwolf Cavalry with a Wolf Lord on a Thunderwolf
Long Fangs
Assault Terminators in a Stormwolf

Probably what you are looking for
Playstyle for each one
Space Marines: Balanced, Shooting or assault
Necrons: Shooting, lot's of good rapid-fire and gauss is auto-glance or auto-wound on 6's. They have some assault specialists but shooting is their thing.
Eldar: They have units for each part, shooting, assaulting, and psykers. You can build it around your playstyle.
Imperial Knight: C'mon dude this one really doesn't need explaining it's like 3 models for a 1500pt game they're huge and they wreck stuff
Go with the army that has the models that you like, because you can play shooty or choppy with most armies, especially the ones you mentioned.
