Just as a disclaimer, this list isn't intended for any sort of competitive play. It's meant for friendly games and I'm posting more to see if people think this sort of list is a TFG thing to bring at low points levels.

The list itself is 498 points and includes:

Belial

5-man Deathwing Terminator Squad with Assault Cannon
5-man Scout Squad with Heavy Bolter

I figure that fluff wise you have the scouts observing an area near an important target. When they spot the enemy they call in Belial and his unit to secure the area until units already on the ground and converge on that location. The list should be able to deal with anything shy of heavy armor pretty well, and even the heaviest armor can be glanced by powerfists.

Thoughts?

It seems fine.

I tend to think of a fluff backstory for my forces as well.

At 11 models and only two units and an independent character it's going to be "interesting".

My 500pt list has 35 models and six units so I'd hope to take you out by volume
of fire or simply being able to grab more Objectives than you...

You'd get rolled over pretty badly by an army that simply outnumbered you a lot like nids. They'd just drown you in bodies and you'd get stuffed.

DA army: 3500pts,
admech army: 600pts
ravenguard: 565 pts

Could make for a very cinematic confrontation if you wanted to "forge the narrative" and design a custom scenario around your force:

SPOTTED!!!

Scouts start on a hill in cover in the center of the table where its assumed they have been observing enemy movement from. Suddenly shots/screeches/yells ring out. They've been spotted.

Enemy models can deploy anywhere as long as they start 18" from any scout models

Belial and terminators must start in reserve.

That's exactly the sort of the game I'd be wanting to play with this kind of list. I just worry that people would be inclined to call cheese on Terminators at low points values.

If I wanted a more competative list I'd go with a cheap HQ (maybe a librarian), and some tac squads with Razorbacks.
