I have a dakka flyrant, carniex, 3 warriors, genestealerbrood with broodlord, 2 zoanthropes, 1 venomthrope, and 1 gargoyle brood. What troops/ troops should I buy next for my tyranid army for a competitive list?

For a really competetive list I would suggests more dakka flyrants and mucolids.

Most competitive lists will use spores or rippers for troops because they are the cheapest troop tax for nids. Personally I hate it. Nids are supposed to drown their opponents in bodies. Having 4 troop models on the board just feels so completely against the idea of nids.

I've seen successful nid lists that use the endless swarm formation, which includes warriors, terms, and horms. I would check that out if you want a list that will flood objectives with objective secured bodies.
