I was shocked when I saw the Canadian price for the iPad version for the new Dark Angel codex to pre-purchase. The price listed on my iPad was $54.99. I thought the prices were the same as the codex. I remember paying same price for my Tyranid interactive codex the same as the paper book format one. So I expected to pay $70.00 for the Dark Angel interactive version as well.

So we are actually paying cheaper now for non paper versions? Can someone please who lives in Canada and has an iPad check to see if it's the same price for you as well? It's not like we are on the GW website and mistakenly clicked on the wrong country. I don't think we can do that with the iPad. So can someone please confirm.

The ebooks, at least, have always been cheaper. But I draw the line at the $50US for the SM codex. GW's electrons are not gold plated.

Edit: yes, I intended to type electrons. :p

I live in Canada.

iBook edition: $55.

Print edition: $70
http://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Codex-Dark-Angels-2015-ENG

The print version is 160 pages, too. I think that's close to the size of the last (6e) Space Marines codex. MONSTER!

@Tannhauser42 - What do you mean that GW's elections are not gold plated? I assume it's a typo, but I can't imagine what word you were trying to write
