Apologies for seemingly taking these pictures with a rough pinhole punched into a metal tin, but in all honesty I'd forgotten about this until I was visiting the museum yesterday.
It costs a fair amount to get in the exhibition, so I'm not about to do it again soon.

Any ideas what went into this?

I want to say there's bits of gate or scenery in here?

I love the design and would love to emulate something similar some day.

First pic will zoom in reasonably well if you click.

Cheers for any suggestions.

I thought the head might be from the Shrine of the Aquila or Aquila Strongpoint kits but on closer inspection it seems to be different.

Taking that into account, it's probably just a buttload of plasticard.

Edit: no wait, I'm blind. It's straight up Aquila Strongpoint + Valkyrie.

Yep, it's any Aquila Strongpoint from the Wall of Martyrs scenery set.

Well that makes life very simple, thank you!
I knew it was familiar but was looking at gates and scenery, not the WoM set. Derp.

Now to just finish everything else on my plate before I contemplate trying.

That's a cool conversion, I never liked the wings and head on the WOM piece, if I had one I'd leave them off if possible.
They look pretty good on the valk though and a fitting embellishment for an inquisitor or somesuch.
I'm tempted to have a bash as I've got a spare valk somewhere and some WOM stuff to add the unembellished Aquilla Strongpoint to.
I think that it would look better painted all the same colour though. The components of the kitbash are really not integrated well in that two tone scheme.
Maybe I'd add some estra feathers, perhaps from the ravenwing sprue, to the rear fins to tie the thing together.

Aye!

I'm going to do it, but it may have to wait a little, as it's a £70 kit for the strongpoint. My army does not yet deserve a giant fething wall of its own, either.
I wonder how structural those wings are to the gun.
