Hey all,

I've been asked to help the Portal in Manchester CT run their first two-day GT later this year. Not a lot of details available at the moment which is why this is a 'save the date' kind of post. This thread will be updated as more info becomes available, but here is what I have from the store manager so far:

Where: The Portal, Hilliard St Manchester CT

When: Oct 3rd and 4th

40 player cap, no word on entry fee yet. Prize pool is currently at $3,000, with prizes for each 'best in faction' as well as the usual prizes.

Armies will be 1,850pts and will likely follow the Nova format of 2.5 sources with Forgeworld allowable counting as a 0-1 choice. Most current codex will be in play and yes if the army book (or data-slate, formation etc) is released on the 3rd October then it's legal for this event. There will likely be super-heavies / gargantuan creatures allowed with similar restrictions to Forgeworld (i.e. 0-1 unit).

Missions will be out nearer the time, expect a combination of Eteranal War and Maelstrom missions.

This will likely be a 5 game tournament though that may change to 6.

Feel free to fire away with any questions.
