I just love Looted wagons and am at the moment making a conversion for the third model. This I thought an Apocalyptic formation for the three of them would be fun. This proposed rule is not meant to make them good, since I think 3 separate blasts are better then one big one, let alone one which such an uncertain strength. It will make for a lot of fun though when you place a possible devastating blast on top of your enemies model only to have it resolved at a low strength or blow up in your own face.
The Boom Brigade
Type: Apocalyptic formation
Composition: 3 Looted Wagons with Killkannon
More boom is better!
If all three of the Looted wagons are able to fire at the selected target they are able to use the Amalgameted Mega Blast (they do need to be in range and not have suffered from a 'don't press that button' result of 1).
Amalgameted Mega blast
S2d6*, AP3, Barrage, Ordnance, 7" blast
*After placing the 7" blast, but before throwing the scatter dice, roll 2d6 to determine the strength of the Mega blast, consult the table below for the result:
2: OOPS! Your opponent places the hole of the 7" blast template at the muzzeltip of one of the Looted wagons. It explodes without scattering with Strength D, AP3. Any Looted Wagon which is underneath the template suffers from a Crew shaken result on top of any other results from the blast.
3-10: Boom! Resolve the blast with the strength of the combined diceroll, AP3.
11: Kaboom! Resolve the blast with the strength D, AP3.
12: MEGABOOM Resolve the blast with the strength D, AP2.
