I am wanting to start playing warhammer fantasy and was looking for an update of places to play around the grapevine area. I have read Area 51 and Texas toy are two very good spots.

Also it seems 40k is much more popular than fantasy and much easy to get a game than fantasy. Any thoughts or recommendations would help. Thoughts on fantasy vs 40k vs warmachine

There aren't any huge Fantasy groups I know of in DFW, but I do see the occasional game played at TTS and Madness. I'd ask around there to see when folks are playing.

40k, X-Wing and Warmahordes are generally the top dogs, but you can find almost anything. If you're interested in Malifaux, we have a growing community of that too. Shameless plug.
