This list annihilated my opponents Khorn Demonkin/Chaos Space Marines by turn 4 list that had 1 blood thirster and then had another summoned in.
The destroyers clustered around the 2 stalkers gave them BS 5 so they hit on 2's an rerolled 1's with preferred enemy. The Extermination protocols of the formation gave them reroll failed wounds and armor pen as well.
The destroyer lord was the Warlord of the army and I rolled Eternal Madness on the necron table which gave Zealot. He was a a close combat monster with preferred enemy and rerolling hits in the first round of combat. His T6 and str7 ap 2 attacks were killer.
The mephrit cohort gives troops re-rolls of 1 for RP and by taking Szeras, everyone in 6" gets +1 to RP effectively providing decurion RP rolls. Szeras also boosts one of the Immortals or warrior units with Mechanical Augmentation: Before deployment select a unit of Warriors or Immortals and roll a D6. 1-2 Unit has T5 3-4 Unit has BS5 5-6 Unit has S5
I played this list at 1500 pts so i did not have ghost arks, 2nd squad of immortals or flayed ones and the Dlord was not as tooled up.
I think that adding the aforementioned units gives more mobility, a horde breaker/ tarpit, and much more gauss shooting.
Lots of anti armor here with 6 heavy Destroyers, 2 stalkers with meltas, and Szeras's Eldrich lance.
Lots of shooting from warriors, immortals, Ghost arks and destroyers
No dedicated AA - but all that shooting should down flyers.
1 CC monster in the Dlord and another unit in the Flayed ones.
