The Eternity Gate

With the move of the big tournaments to 3 detachments I'm really liking the combo of ad mech and GKs. Basically the dominus and libby joins the destroyers for a hilariously effective shooting unit. With cognis and prescience I'm hitting on 5s everything from flyers, FMCs, and invisible deathstars with re-rolls with 36 grav shots at 30". Scary. The termies and Kastalleans provide some CC support and shooting. This list should be able to handle hordes, deathstars, armor, and AA. Thoughts on how I can improve this list? Just to note, I didn't spam arc rifles since they only come 1 to a box.

As for the Vanguard having only one Arc Rifle - take one squad of 10 with 3 Arc Rifles if you can't get every one 2 or 3. In my opinion it's a waste otherwise.

I agree, if you don't enough Arc Rifles to fill the squad run the other weapon options. They are all good.

I'd replace the GK with a SM conclave personally. Tiggy and a couple of lvl1 libs. Being able to harness on 2+ with reroll is amazing.

I'd rework the skitarii a bit. You don't want to waste that much amazing anti-infantry shooting plinking tanks. I like 5 man units with 2x arc (and 1 pistol if points allow). I like 10 man units without specials or with plasma if points allow. Means the shooting effectiveness is maximized. So

10 man
10 man

Humm, some good suggestions all around. I think I will do 2 10 mens squads with 2 arc rifles each and then 2 naked 10 man vanguard squads. A small change but I agree is a better setup.
