I really love DBZ and was going to build a gaming table like jtairians(probably spelled wrong) and was thinking of either doing pripyat or kami's lookout. What do you guys think?

Kami's look out is quite small, also very sparse. Not sure it makes the best mini wargaming environment.

Well they do fly.

Is this some kinda game or just miniatures and models and at what scale?

Kami house would be simple to do. and you can make a ocean table with just a blue felt sheet.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of master Roshi's place, Kami's lookout is up that long pole, above the world. I was doing 40k 6x4 table...

Well The thing isnt that fantastically big. at best it will be 4x4.

Though IIRC its size and scale changes throughout the series and movies.

Soooo you could probably take some liberties.

Doing a BIG building complex with there signature floor tiles and building ascetics would be baller. with lots of columns and planter pots.

Doing a 4x4 table with a complex internal building wouldn't be bad ether so long as its mostly impassible and LOS Blocking to change up play mechanics.
