lol I don't mean to be a party pooper but is that a legal list? Wouldn't I need a war host of some sort to bring avatar and 2 wraith knights?
Damnit I forgot they're lords of war with the new craftworlds dex. Take one and a wraithlord instead... And an autarch on jetbike with a fuision gun and one of the special melee weapons in place of the avatar.. And the shroud for lulz and mobile cover save. Get a bit more infantry and another wave serpent, or a crimson hunter. Can always use some anti-air. The wraithcannon is a beastly weapon, but the suncannon is a nice with scatter laser to kill some termies and whatnot. Don't take a second weapon other than the scatter laser with the suncannon unless you plan on not using the suncannon for some reason.. Maybe grab a bright lance for heavy vehicle hunting or something. Blance+scatter laser is my favorite wraithlord configuration as well, I'd go with that. Sell your second wraithlord(Someone will probably buy it,. they're kind of in demand
lol) or alternatively just make 2 different versions, although with the expense of that kit magnetizing is worth it. Use the money to buy another wraithlord(Or a small Tau detachment with a riptide for some sexy allies with extra firepower.) Fire dragons in a wave serpent are always solid for popping tanks, another solid choice. You have tons of models, lots of good choices. Wave serpent spam is usually fairly effective, and very versatile. 3 wave serpents, 2 with dire avengers in them, 1 with fire dragons. Make sure to set them all up in a midfield area with a farseer to buff them. Wave serpents with different weapon setups are good for handling various opponents that would poop on your infantry normally are a good idea(bright lance for vehicles, etc) less effective than in 6th cuz of jink nerfs but AV12 is still tough enough, especially if you can get a cover save on them with a holofield. Wraithgaurd with the Dstrength weapons in a wave serpent are also highly effective and will be a sure fire magnet, you'll want to jink and put a holo field on that wave serpent for sure. Again, farseer for buffing always good. Just remember to bring varied types of shooting(and dont rely on bladestorm overmuch for your main source of AP2), make sure your force can contest objectives(dire avengers with exarch with the shield are good at holding things, as are troops wave serpents), and something that can handle a melee role, like a wraithlord with a sword or the avatar. I'd take wraithknight over avatar most times though. He's not as good at challenges but 5
atks at
str 10 AP2 is always quite fantastic. His
WS 4 might be a small hinderance, but not a big deal against most things, again, weaker in challenges and against tougher enemies like space marine chapter masters, deathwing knights, etc.
