"The best defense is an overwhelming, uncompromising offense."
-Canoness Valeria Arkhan, of the Order of the Argent Hand
Certain Celestians are trained to fight in the incredibly heavy Cataphractii-pattern power armor that offers increased strength and protection to the wearer, but is incredibly slow to one not given the advantage of the Black Carapace. These elites deploy into the thick of the fighting, and where the lines of their Sisters are weakest. It is here that they shine, having honed their skills in line combat over years of conflict- pushing the foe's ranks back with their chain-pikes, then unleashing a veritable firestorm from the holy trinity of weaponry.

Wargear -Cataphractii Armor
Featuring enhanced cabling bundles, reinforced layers of ceramite plating, and some of the most advanced ballistic augurs short of Terminator armor, Cataphractii-pattern power armor is designed for those under the thickest fire.
Cataphractii Armor confers a 3+ armor save and 4++ invulnerable save.
-Chain Pikes
In essence, a finely-made Chainsword attached to a very long stick and balanced to account for that, a Chain Pike is an excellent choice for line combat.

-Act of Faith: The Emperor Protects
One use only. This Act of Faith can be used during in either Assault phase. If successful, all models in the unit gain the Counter-Attack and Rampage special rules until the controlling player's next Assault Phase.

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.
So basically, if Cataphractii-pattern Terminator Armour technology was incorporated into Power Armour, and given to a squad of the criminally underloved SOB, you'd get this?
GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.
Some say God created the world. I don't know about that, but I do know that everything else is made in China.
I'd recommend switching the WS and BS, the fact they only have chain pikes seems to imply training heavily with melee weapons over ranged

I don't see why they would need a Dark Age of Technology Power Armor that Marines don't even have just for a 4++.
You could accomplish the same thing by giving them all lore friendly rosariuses and making their chain pikes(which sound a little too khornate) +1 strength. Bulky is really unneeded.
If they're meant for close combat they should be WS 4. At 25 points they're also overpriced. Finally why can does the squad max out at 11?

This wasn't exactly the intent. I was aware of the Cataphractii-pattern Terminator armor, but was deriving the name from the Byzantine-era heavy cavalry (literally "the armored") who wielded spears as well. This is merely a highly up-armored and reinforced suit of Sabbat-pattern power armor, not fully-blown Terminator Armor.
As for the WS and BS, valid points.

I would move for a name change. Cataphractii pattern terminator armor is too prevalent for that to not be confusing. But I do like the unit idea, although I would second the suggestion to lower the ppm cost, but not by much, perhaps 22-24 ppm?
I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.
