Subject: Kroot Knosis (Counts-as Eldar Wraithknight) Finished July 4, 2015
This model was a concept for over ten years, but it wasn't until the release of the Eldar Wraithknight before I started working on it with any persistence. The original model is a mystery, as I picked it out of a friend's basement and he couldn't tell me what it was from. It was originally a mount for an action-hero sized model, as you can see by the belly belt, but I feel like I added enough 28mm bits from the Kroot and Ogre Kingdom ranges to bring the scale down. The model is approximately the same size as an Eldar Wraithknight, and I hope I was able to convey it's battlefield ability as the toughest unit on the table for my Kroot army. I am not closed to suggestions or improvements, so comments and criticism will be appreciated. Especially on any tricks on how to cover up my modelling defects (leg joints, howdah attachment, neck, etc.) It was my first time pinning and magnetizing a model.
