Owen and I pull a late-nighter to bring you my first Age of Sigmar Battle Report on pre-order day!
A few mistakes were made in this first-ever-game, primarily an error in deployment. It would simply have delayed combat a turn though, so no big deal.
Enjoy!

Great video. Second one I've watched today, I hope you make more!
Re: the question of reinforcements and their power to drag games out. From the paragraph below they do not count towards your original Army and so you do not need to kill them to table your opponent. 3rd paragraph under Glorious Victory
" Models added to your army during the game (for example, through summoning, reinforcements, reincarnation and so on) do not count towards the number of models in the army, but must be counted among the casualties an army suffers."

That's only relevant to the win condition of a Minor Victory. For the purpose of a primary major victory, you have to destroy all models on the table (including those summoned).

Granted but it does mean that when summoning a numberless horde you need to be fairly certain you can wipe out your opponent. It has a significant disadvantage if your opponent can hold out for six rounds and you get your calculations wrong.

Well... there's also technically no turn limit.
My thoughts are we played with far too many models. The current wisdom floating around is that we will likely arrange games to 10 Scrolls and a max of 100 wounds. It's like Magic, you win by reducing either the deck size to 0 or the wound count to zero...so starting with the same 'pool' seemed a logical way of balancing the game.

I agree, the number of models had a negative impact on the game as a viewer. I've found games with 3-4 average sized units and a character seem to be the most engaging. It also gives you much more room for units to move around other than just charging forward and smashing whatever is in front.
Thanks for the video though, it was interesting to watch this so soon. Please do more
