Hi guys,

I am working on the paint scheme for my ad-mech army and I's like to avoid a red/gunmetal heavy look, so ive decided my Skitarii will not be from mars. I'd really like the markings and colors to be fluff accurate. I started 6th edition with dark angels and really love that traitor hating vibe. Looking for an 'in fluff' forge world to base my admech on i saw phaeton. I noticed its close to the home world of house Krast, the house my ad mech knights will be from. What can you guys tell me about phaeton?

Hyperspace

Phaeton is a Forge World and the originator of a common pattern of Leman Russ Battle Tank and Chimera, Variant with Heavy Flamers. It is also close to the Civilised World of Tahnel.

Phaeton was the second most productive Forge World of the Imperium after Mars at the time of the Great Crusade before the discovery of Anvilus Nine. However the world was also stubbornly independent and came into conflict with Mars over its autonomy. The tensions nearly rose to full-scale conflict but Phaeton relented at the last minute, agreeing to pay tribute by sending a third of its forces to Mars. However rather than undertaking the agreed transaction, the Techpriests of Phaeton instead sent their tribute seemingly at random into the void as a final act of spite. These forces eventually settled at Atar-Median and the Legio Atarus was born from them.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.
