So im looking to have a librarian as my hq choice for my grey knight army and was wandering if the new librarian model in terminator armour would need any converting or will be ok as is?

This one seems to be wysiwyg and is a lovley looking model. Any suggestions on any converting that would need to be done for this to be a grey knight librarian or just a good paint job?

Add grey knight pads if possible and paint to suit your tastes. He doesn't need anything else, of course the terminator knight seal would do wonders as well.

I would give it a terminator arm so that the storm bolter is wrist-mounted, like every other Grey Knight. Then put a Grey Knight Warding Stave in the other hand and give them Grey Knights shoulder pads and voila! Perfect Grey Knight Librarian.

Those are good thematic suggestions. However, yes it'd be fine as is, just know the staff can only really be a nemesis warding staff. It'd be easier to put a different hand on him though since GK kits have plenty of extra weapons.

I just used the regular GK Terminator sprue and made sure to stick lots of bling on my dude. I did get a cloak off ebay (I think from the DA terminator box) that fits on the back of the Terminator armor to make him stand out a bit.

Honestly, Grey Knight Librarians are easier than sin to make out of the Grey Knight Terminator kit.
