Since there seems to be a surge of KoW converts (for some odd reason, really), I think it's high time that the community puts forth nice battle reports to showcase KoW. I would do it myself but I only have one army =___=

I'd have tried to do one this weekend, but since KS backers didn't get the full PDF and the stuff released has lots of things cut out, rewriting my lists from the previous edition is involving too much extra time mucking around from multiple sources to get all of the stats and point costs (New mini-rules, WIP 5.2, Beta 2.4, my old lists) I doubt I'll get around to playing.

Nice of them to release ther Abyssals to BoW backstage subscribers with no access even for KS backers as well as the free website rules being cut down (no magic items, units removed). Even though I'll (eventually) get the full PDF in a week (or two) it's poor form and another opportunity missed. Especially right now with AoS hurting WHFB.

Oh man, just learned that the free PDFs are incomplete. Are they gonna release a full version soon?

It's kinda a miss since there's a mass exodus of WHFB players and they should've capitalized on it.

It seems that they're hoping that the incomplete ones will motivate people to purchase their rules once they're printed. If you have any friends who are local and KS backers, I'm sure you'd be able to get hold of the full PDF once it's released (in weeks or a month). I do agree that it's a terrible misstep, though.

That's a bummer. No one ordered the KoW rules because we thought we'll have them for free and we'l just have to concentrate on buying models.
