Hi guys. My names Daz and Ive been into warhammer 40k on and off for at least 4-5 years now. I absolutely love it and would love nothing more than to not have to work and just live the gamer life. After a breif hiatus Im now settled and well stuck into my new salamanders army, so I thought why not share the progress with my fellow internet folk? these okrmoticons are awesome!!

Salutations, Daz von Helmet and welcome to Dakka!
You are not alone in wishing that this hobby could become your full time job (although I'm part way there as I begin to move deeper into the freelance world)...
If you're ever in the Nottingham area you'll have to check out Animosity Events www.forum.animositywargaming.co.uk: narrative campaign weekends of 40k, 30k and more!
All the best
James

Yep, we've done Battle for Armageddon, the Ullanor Crusade (30k) and also ran Apocalypticon UK last year (we managed more than a quarter of a million points in total). We're doing Apocalypticon 2015 in November if you're interested.
Cheers
James
