I cannot find this particular effect in the Codex yet, and I've seen it played out at my gaming store a few times and just want to clarify it's legality.
Also, Runes o f the Farseer grant one re rolled test, not all tests correct?

Re-roll enemy psychic tests? None.
Runes of Farseer - correct. Single Psychic test and Deny the Witch. Note that not all dice have to be re-rolled however.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Runes of the Farseer allow you to re-roll any dice for a psychic test or deny the witch test *once per psychic phase*. You can use them more than once so long as it's not in the same psychic phase. As for forcing your opponent to re-roll psychic tests. I scoured the eldar, dark eldar, and harlequin codices as well as the rulebook psychic disciplines, and couldn't come up with anything that does this.

The only thing that came close were the old runes of warding, but I do vaguely remember it being present in another army somewhere.

Me neither. I've also seen him ask for successful saves re-rolled, which I'm sure was an older Eldar rule, but I'll have to ask him where he's getting these rules from in the new codex... Automatically Appended Next Post: Maybe he's playing with the old Misfortune effect in 6th edition?

Sounds like someone thinks Runes of the Farseer can be used to make an opponent reroll.
