Hey everyone, with already one of my forces picked out for AOS I am really wanting to do an army themed after the Riders of Rohan as they are my favorite Faction in the LOTR books and movies. Now I have watched the movies recently and have narrowed down a few choices:

High Elves: With their Ellyrian Reavers, Silver Helms and Dragon Princes I feel that they are probably the best choice for me to go as I can represent the close combat and horse archers of Rohan.

Bretonnia: Obvious choice for Cavalry as they are some of the best Cavalry in the entire game with all of them in AOS hitting very hard on the charge and Trebuchets though not Rohan are pretty awesome!

Just some ideas I've been throwing around and am curious what you guys think. Should I stick with one of the above choices, do a mix of 2 Factions or something completely different that I haven't thought of? Thanks for your insight everyone!

I'd say High Elves seem like the best choice.

Agreed. Reaver Knights are the closest thing I can think of to Rohirrim style units.

Bretonnians are good, but Rohan isn't really about heavy lancer cavalry - that's more a Dol Amroth/Gondor thing.
