Hey everyone, I have made my own method of applying points to aos.
it works pretty well I think.

Wounds+atks(+/- above/below average to wound)+rend+extra damage+1 (if ranged)×wounds÷1.5 (×2 for named characters, and wizards)

Example: an ogre bull has 4 wounds, 3 attacks, wounds on a 3+ ( 1 above the average of 4+) doesn't rend, but does 2 damage. And has a bravery of 6.
so that comes out to ((4+3+1+1)*(6))/1.5 which makes the bull 36 points rounded.
the only problem is things that wound on 6+ they get -2, which translates to 0*wounds usually. So I have capped it at -1, even if they wound on a 6.

This way of calculating points is pretty reasonable, and is mostly based on how killy the unit is.

Let me know what you think of it

Thanks
austin
